Boredom on a Friday night --> turning into an anime character.This is NOT a photomanipulation! After seeing similar photos, I decided to try and paint my eyelids with anime eyes. I used a combination of face paint, powder eyeshadow to keep the face paint from running, and a whole lotta liquid eyeliner. My eyebrows are hidden among the black part of the eyes, while I painted pink brows higher up on my head.
Even though my hands were kinda shaky while doing this, I'm very pleased with the results. I got exactly the freaky, masklike effect I was looking for. and I might even make a tut eventually. If I can find someone willing to let me apply anime eye makeup to their eyelids...

Honestly, -I- can't even look at these pictures, they skeeve me out.
But it was worth doing! And the wig has become part of my daily-wear. x]

About 1-2 minutes of vigorous face-scrubbing.
Followed by about 2 minutes of picking out residual eyeliner gunk from my eyes.
But it was totally worth it.

I closed one lid (lightly) and very, very slowly painted it. I used a brand of liquid eyeliner that didn't dry very quickly, so if you do it I'd recommend splurging on a fast-drying brand.
I might do a makeup tutorial...if I can find someone willing to let me stick crazy makeup on their face.

It was SUPER hard for me not to rub my eyelids when they itched or whatever. That said, when I did end up doing that, they didn't smudge too bad. Powder makeup over facepaint helps.
