Yeah, there are other sites that you can do it a lot faster on. Imgur is one that I tried very briefly. I chose to not continue with that site because more often than not there were trolls that were simply down-voting for the sake of downvoting. While I had GREAT viewership numbers (Several thousand for every single one of my submissions) the ratings system was killing me and I was lucky to break even. I have a Facebook where I post as well, however the big problem with Facebook has to be their forced limited audience. I believe 3% might see what you post, so that doesn't help too much. DA unfortunately is the only wide-open platform that I have the freedom to what I need to get more viewers without spending money to gain acquisition or to post more, etc. It's unfortunate that this is what am stuck to using really.

I appreciate your views on viewership.  still I haven't gone beyond dA as facebook and haven't tried Imgur as of yet.

Haha. Thanks. Well. I'm in the writing mood today. May as well start with this piece xD 

I'm burning from the inside out
my throat scratched and worn
with words unspoken and heart being torn
as I debate whether to speak
or let the silence reign

The light is fading,
flickering,
but I fight the darkness
for its right 
to rule my life

Oh, great Fire, you shine in this world
challenging hell in the flames
your presence inspires the living 
to kindle their passion
and ignite the fighting spirit
once more

I struggle to hide
even as the darkness takes control
and I am losing to the slowly forming abyss 
of violet and red hues 
the clouds melt into the setting sun
and I can let the pain recede with the fading light

For this is how its meant to be
the fighting never stops
even as the other wins
for I never concede 

(I don't even know...I was supposed to comment and then think about it and write this later but then my fingers moved and this happened xD)
