Description
Sorry, over a month since last update and well, it took some time for me to get this done. Been busy with rl stuff and other non PR related projects. Sorry. Hope you like this team though. Just a note here, I don't like the Mystic Force name, but couldn't find something else that conveyed the Magic theme without sounding well, dumb, so the name had to stay.

About
-----------------------------
So it is time to dive into a season with a really good setting, but debatable execution, imo at least. As you are all aware, the Red Ranger is usually the leader of the team, save for a few seasons, which all have a really good reason for that change. In the case of this season, I believe their major problem comes from the handling of their Red Ranger. The character was rash, stubborn and a few other bad traits that all in all, set him up for a nice arch to become a really good character, the problem is, he doesn't change one bit. As far as leaders go, he is one of the worse, Top 5 worse imo, and same when considering only Red Rangers. I always thought the Green Ranger was a better leader, the few times I saw him lead, he did actually a realy good job. In fact, it would seem that the only reason the Red was the leader (plot wise) was because he was the "mythic" son of Udonna and her fire monster looking husband. But even that arch goes nowhere, he doesn't do ANYTHING worth mentioning on his own, that doesn't justify his status on the team. So, I decided to change that. Expect a lot of changes here.
As for the aesthetic, I decided to make a minor change, add the white accents to the suits. I honestly don't think the original suits had anything that needed to be changed, but given how long it took me to create the Solaris Knight, I'm pretty sure creating their Legend form will take me just as long if not longer, so I probably won't do it. In exchange, I added that white accent to the suit as a nod to their Legendary mode (because I actually do like that mode), I tried adding more, like changing the gloves or boots to white too, but it didn't work out, it seemed to clash with the design, or maybe I'm too accustomed to their looks. Same goes for the helms, I actually created the Legendary mode helms, but when I put them on, they seemed just... over designed compared to the rest of the suit. So I had to revert to the original ones. Overall is not a big change, but I felt like I HAD TO explain why I made it.
One last thing, I did not add Leanbow's form because, again, Solaris took a looong time (that glitery shiny thing was very troublesome to display properly), so if I added Leanbow's forms, it would have taken me way longer to add this team, so, yeah, decided against it. If I get the chance, I'll do it later and update the team, but I can't promise anything.

Prior to the series
During the Great Battle, Necrolai was able to snatch Bowen from the battle between Calindor and Daggeron. Necrolai was able to bring the baby inside, much to Niella's surprise. Niella did her best to keep the gate open, to allow Leanbow and his son to escape, but the fight was taken too long and although struggling to her last breath she was not able to hold the door open anymore, using her remaining strength to seal the door, confident that being Leanbow with the boy he will be able to protect him.
Being sealed inside with the Master's forces along with his son, Octomus offered Leanbow a deal, he would not kill his son if he promised to serve him. Knowing there was no other choice, Leanbow agreed, only asking Octomus to allow him to always be near his son. The Master agreed turning Leanbow into Koragg, erasing all his memories and assigning him to train the baby Bowen.
As time passed, Koragg grew attached to the kid and even taught him to fight. Meanwhile Octomus, knowing how much they despised each other, had Morticon train and taint the boy in the dark arts taking him to each and every of their dark magic users, so that even if Koragg ever turned good again, the boy wouldn't follow.
Outside time passes and Udonna is convinced her son must have been saved somehow and searches for him.
Power Rangers Mystic Force
As their powers are revealed and they morph into Rangers for the first time, Udonna tells the team that once their leader was a Fire Wizard, so it would only be logical that the Fire user of their team was the leader, all of this because she secretly hoped Nick was her son Bowen, given his affinity for Fire Magic like Leanbow's.
As time passed and they faced dangers, the rangers themselves could see that Nick was no leader, often charging on his own and making rash decision that in more than one occassion forced Xander or any other member of the team to save him instead.
When Koragg forces a battle against Clare for the powers of the Gatekeeper, she turns into the giant Shinning Moon Warrior, but she is defeated and kidnapped by Koragg. Once in Koragg's lair, Udonna explains Clare the reason she was defeated was because that form was created by her mother and though she could control it, the form was not hers, she had to find a way to make the powers her own so she could use them properly.
As Koragg drained Clare's powers the Gate raises and opens, letting out a Gargoyle monster the Rangers fight off; but it also allowed Bowen to step out of the Pit, something he had not been able to do prior to this.
With the help of Nick, who decided to go against Xander's judgement to wait for them all, Clare was able to break the Spell Wheel that was using off her powers. Inspired by Udonna's words and Nick's appearance, she decides to use her powers in a different way, instead of turning into the Shinning Moon Warrior form, she takes on a new Ranger form, one that combines both Udona's Ranger form appearance as well as her mother's Shinning Moon Warrior's.
In her new Ranger form Clare is able to take control of Catastros, temporarily, defeating Koragg and rescuing Udonna in the process. After the battle Clare's tiara turns into a morpher just like that of the rangers, only difference its purple and silver.
With Bowen out of the Pit, he is tasked to help the other Morlocks in their battle. He happily agrees, but as he jumps into battle, Udonna feels her son is back and faces him. Bowen is surprised the Ranger decides to take on him alone, as they fought he confirms her he is Bowen, but doesn't recognize her as his mother, claiming his only allegiance is to the Forces of Darkness.
The rest of events follow as normal, with the only differences being that with the information of Bowen not being Nick as she suspected, Udonna begins questioning the decision of having him lead the team, this coupled with the rangers already trusting Xander or Maddie to lead more than Nick, has the Green Ranger take over as leader of the team instead.
Now whenever Koragg tried to battle one on one, he would face Xander or Clare instead of Nick since he recognized the Leader of the Rangers as his strongest foe and Clare because she was able to defeat him once. Udonna takes on a more active role, fighting Bowen everytime he would appear, being aided by Daggeron when he joins the team.
After being infected by Imperius' virus was absorbed by Koragg, the seal Octomus had put on his brain wained and his memories began to return, slowly, but eveytime they did Koragg would act weird, catching Bowen's attention.
After Imperius is able to drag the entire Ranger team to the Underworld and seeing Udonna and his friend Daggeron weakened, Leanbow's memories flood over Koragg, allowing him to return to himself and coming to the Ranger's rescue in the Underworld. Leanbow is able to open a portal to let the rangers escape, but Bowen arrives on the Underworld as well. The young warlock claims to be dissapointed in Koragg. As Leanbow and Udonna, demorphed try to reach for him, Bowen engages them in battle, forcing Leanbow to take on his Wolf Warrior form, but not wanting to hurt his son, even knowing he is bad, Leanbow holds back and Bowen proves to Udonna he is beyond saving as he kills Leanbow and takes his power for himself. Udonna is saved by Clare and Daggeron as Bowen laughs.
Some time after, with Bowen having absorbed Koragg's power and being stronger than Imperius, Octomus offers him the chance to lead their forces, instead Bowen declines saying Imperius has a plan and that they should trust him. Bowen makes a deal with Imperius, allowing him to do as he pleases as long as he allows him to kill the White Ranger himself, Imperius agrees.
As Imperius' plan to defeat Daggeron and trap the rangers works, Udonna uses Dark Magic to transport her and Clare into their base. Imperius is shocked, but Bowen stops him from doing anything to them and allows them to scape. Imperius is shocked and thinks Bowen has turned on them like Leanbow did, this backed up by the fact Daggeron comes back with the Unicorn, telling the rangers it was Bowen who saved him from Imperius. Imperius angers and tells Octomus Bowen is a traitor, to which Bowen only smiles and transports to the ranger's location, having Imperius fight off Daggeron as he takes the chance to fight of his mother and cousin, leaving the Rangers to deal with the chimera monster Imperius created. Though the Rangers are able to destroy the monster and Daggeron finishes off Imperius, Bowen is actually able to defeat Clare during the battle, leaving his mother to face him alone. The battle continues, but even when Clare tries to help, summoning the other rangers back, Bowen is able to kill Udonna infront of them all, thanking them for destroying Imperius before he leaves.
When Bowen comes back to the pit, Octomus demands him to free him, to which Bowen responds that he could do that, but if he did, they would be outmatched by the rangers, since all their generals but him and Necrolai have fallen. Instead he proposes to raise the Ten Terrors again. Their strength is on par with Bowen's which will give them more generals for their army, although stalling Octomus' freedom. Octomus agrees knowing that even if the Ten Terrors fail, the curse placed on them, will have their power split back half to him and half to the others, this way eveytime a Terror fails, the next one will be stronger and even if they all die, he will be freed and stronger than before.
The Ten Terrors are resurrected, but when they are down to four, Octomus has grown powerfull enough to break free himself, killing the traitor Matoombo himself and taking all his power for him to restore his own body.
With three Terrors and Bowen by his side Octomus attacks the rangers, during the battle one Terror turns on Octomus to help the rangers, the other two are defeated by them. Knowing the traitor is now the strongest of the Terrors, and since Octomus broke free all of their power is now split only among them, Bowen kills her and claims all of the remaining power for himself, now being on par with Octomus in power.
Octomus sees this as their victory since the rangers have lost their powers, but instead, Bowen turns on him, claiming there can only be one Dark Master and a battle ensues. The rangers, having their power restored by the aid of the magical creatures in the forest, take the chance to join the battle, Clare has Maddie, Vida, Nick and Chip help her forming shield to cover around Bowen and Octomus as well to protect eveyone outside while Daggeron and Xander jump in to fight Bowen and Octomus. With the two Dark Masters who have greatly wounded each other by now. Xander and Daggeron borrow magic from their friends and land a final blow on their opponents, Xander hitting Ocotmus and Daggeron Bowen. The overload of Magic coupled with the injuries sustained by their battle kills both Dark Masters and although Xander and Daggeron end up greatly injured after the following explosion, the shield created by the other rangers protect everyone else as they finally win.
