Holiday 2016 Pinup — Description
In the past, I've usually made a pinup with a holiday theme, and I though I'd continue that this year.

I've had some of the most artistic growth of my career this year, and I think it shows here. This piece features Jessica Rabbit, a very special toon character for me. If you haven't already seen it, this old Jessica Rabbit pinup is worth a look:

Today I'm posting this year's holiday themed pinup. I've drawn every single day for the last two years, and I'm improving. I'm learning more about color theory and composition, so my finished pieces are benefiting from that too.
It's interesting to look back over the last decade, and see the progression of holiday pinups that have come before. Since these are older, I can critique them better than I could when they were my prized creations.
2015

Here was last year's submission. There are some cool things going on in the background, but the figure's proportions are weird, and the composition is dull. I believe it was hand drawn, and at that time my drawing wasn't as good as my vectors. I still have quite a long way to go in that area.
