like tadal wavescrashing our shores
soon we will be washed to sea
nothing will turn it away
we're sweapt up and carried far
nothing could save us now
but tonight is ours
though theyve taken our forms
its getting harder to pretend we are the same
but tonight its right
twisting, creating new shapes
as its getting clearer we dont fit into place
like sheets
we are folding
creasing, fraying at all ends
but we can do anything
almost-if you can pretend
now its coming faster than we thought
