The “Sufferings” are a type of high-ranking abyssal undead that serve in the armies of the “Destroyer.” This nightmarish abomination has four arms and a body composed of human remains, with skulls crammed into its head and an unholy tongue. Led by the insight of an “Suffering,” the soulless, zombie-turned humans gather in hungry “hordes” that chase the screams of the “Sufferings” that echo among the ruins of the human realm, where angels and demons vie for control of a world reduced to bones and ashes by the Apocalypse.
