Very impressive! I imagine it's tough to make an image pop with just black and white, but this achieves that!

It's true that it can be tricky to make images pop in black-and-white. One of the key tricks to that (or even colored images for that matter) is contrast. Heck, a lot of times, color can be even trickier to make pop just right, so that colors don't blend too much with one another or if too many of them are competing for the eye's attention.

That's a really good point, in some ways I can see the job being easier if you have less color options to you need to choose from. It also helps for something that's in space, giving it that kind of otherworldly feel to it.
