A thumb is for sharing your art in a chatroom, or in your journal.
But you have to be subcribed before it works in your journal.
You can also send them in a note (private messages)
You just have to select the thumb text and click CTRL + C, and then in a chatroom/journal/note press CTRL + V to paste the thumbnail into a journal/chatroom/note.
