ribbon ref — Description
Vib-River Water Dragons were a small species of water dragon that only lived in a place called the Vib-River Valley. These dragons were very easy and admirable to poachers. Their scales go for a lot of money, and their tails contain super-strong fibers that can be used for building and fabrics. As well as this, they were an easy target thanks to the fact that they had no powers, and they were only around the size of a horse, small compared to other dragons. They were poached to near extinction. Many Vib-River Water Dragons fled to other bodies of water, to no avail, thanks to the fact that most couldn't cope with the new environment and unfamiliar predators.
That's where Ribbon comes in. Once his brother was slain, he found a pool far from any settlements around the river, and stayed there rather than leaving. He became very territorial, but also quite fun-loving and kindhearted. He can snap too soon if strangers approach, though.
His tail is very flat and long, a characteristic of this species of dragon. The shape helps them propel and steer through river rapids, but their tails also resemble river plants. They use them to lure in plant eating fish. They have black padding on their hands and feet for gripping rocks in the river. The river is very clear in most places, so their blue colouration helps them blend in.
