Marvel Animation Character Design, HULK AND THE AGENTS OF S.M.A.S.H., Betty Ross. Adobe Photoshop, WACOM Cintiq.In the Second Season episode entitled, "Banner Day," Betty Ross shows up to aid in transforming The Hulk back into Dr. Robert Bruce Banner. In designing this character, my mind immediately flashed to the heroic paleontologist Kate Lloyd, portrayed by actress Mary Elizabeth Winstead in the 2011 horror movie, THE THING. Inspiration springs from anywhere and everywhere, but a sharp memory for film (good and bad), can be a fun and handy shortcut.

I'm really mad that they didn't use the story about Betty becoming the Red She-Hulk before the series ended. Jerome-K-Moore, if you had drawn it, would she be just like She-Hulk? Or maybe she would be as different of She-Hulk as Red Hulk is from Hulk?

Hmm... I don't know. I would put some thought into it. But I would certainly want her to have her own distinct look, to stand apart from She-Hulk. I would probably make her a bit shorter, and give her a different body type. But she'd still be attractive, as She-Hulk is attractive.

Considering we haven't seen or heard Betty Ross on-screen since the 2008 Hulk film, I was so happy to see her in AOS! Thank you for making her awesome!!! <3

I hadn't been able to keep up with Hulk AOS, but I am glad to see Betty did make it into the show in some way. I really like her design, too!
