Why Is She In Chains — Description

“So there she is.”

“Monstrous isn’t it? Don’t get too close.”

“Such a beautiful thing, so delicate. I doubt she can do me any harm.” He brings the flame of his torch closer mesmerized by the animalistic glow of her eyes. She seems almost timid as he approaches closer and closer. She lounges at him suddenly, teeth snapping at his face. If the man didn't jump back, and if where not for her chains she may have even taken a bite of his face. Her face contorted in pure hatred of the man’s existence she screams a sound no human could ever make. Her anger melts into a self congratulatory smile and chuckles at the look of horror on the man’s face. Her chains clink and clank as she recedes back to her cold rocky seat and raps her leathery wings around herself. Her eyes never leave his for the remainder of his visit. Her twisted smile burned in his mind’s eye and her growl like chuckle echo in his ear. Though he wound never visit that cell again, he knew his encounter with the fallen one would never be forgotten.
