Link was hesitant when Zelda asked him to make love to her. Ganondorf had held her captive for months, and had made Zelda's body his property to give and take as he pleased. Link feared he would inadvertently harm her. The Princess, however, was insistent. She wanted to take back control over her person. She wanted to love and be loved by her one and only. And, now that their lives permitted it, she wanted to finally fall asleep in her lover's arms and wake up with him the next morning.
And so they gave themselves to one another, wholly and freely. And the morning sun rose on the two lovers, fast asleep, their bodies entwined in a warm embrace, their hearts at peace.
