Meh. She's still alive. Always is. They think she's dead and they leave, then it turns out she inexplicably recovers and everything's happy and flowery and rainbows and guff. EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. And when she IS killed off, it's in a horrific way that makes me think "someone's probably getting off on this". What's wrong with a headshot? Quick and painless.
