Personality
Jagger Riptide is a man who found his purpose in a new body. Formerly a college dropout with no clear direction, he embraced his transformation into a muscular, anthropomorphic alligator with an enthusiastic and positive attitude. He is an incredibly supportive and loving individual, with his devotion to his husband, Anchor, being the cornerstone of his new life. He takes great pride in their relationship and his role as a protector and partner.

Despite his large, intimidating form, Jagger is a warm and gentle giant, known for his friendly demeanor and an easygoing nature. He's sociable and enjoys making friends with the other inhabitants of Aeaea Island, fostering a sense of community and acceptance. His newfound confidence is evident in his love for bodybuilding and showing off his physique.

However, beneath his charming and confident exterior, Jagger carries some lingering insecurities from his past as a jobless human. He is deeply determined to prove his worth as a lifeguard and a person, driven by a fear of failure and of reverting to his former self. His journey has instilled in him a profound empathy for others who are struggling to find their place, making him an ideal source of support and encouragement for new Circians. He is a musically talented and peaceful soul who prefers to de-escalate situations with his words rather than his strength, and his presence on the island is a testament to the power of a second chance and the love that helped him find his way.

Appearance
Jagger Riptide is a muscular anthropomorphic alligator with brown eyes.

He wears dark green swimming trunks with bright green stripes on the sides, a red tank-top with a white cross and the word “GUARD” on it in bold white words, and wears a necklace of one of his husband’s shark teeth.

Biography
Born and raised in Orlando, Florida, Jagger August's human life was marked by a lack of clear direction. He dropped out of college and was searching for a job when he came across Circe's Transformations. Seeing his need for purpose, Circe offered him a job as a lifeguard on her private island, Aeaea, which was populated with other willingly transformed people. He accepted the offer and was transformed into a muscular anthropomorphic alligator.

Embracing his new life with enthusiasm, Jagger found both a sense of purpose and a community of people who accepted him for who he was. He quickly became a reliable and dedicated lifeguard, using his new physical strength to protect the island's beaches and its inhabitants. It was on Aeaea that he met Anchor Riptide, a fellow lifeguard and an anthropomorphic shark. The two fell deeply in love and got married, with Jagger taking Anchor's surname as his own. To symbolize their profound bond and loyalty, Jagger gave one of his teeth to Anchor, who wears it as a necklace. Now, with a loving husband and a meaningful job, Jagger Riptide is a testament to the power of a second chance and the fulfillment that comes with finding a place to belong.
