Biography
Born and raised in San Diego, Anchor Riptide's human life was one of unfulfilled potential. He was a kind-hearted man, but he lacked direction and confidence, and his sedentary lifestyle had left him feeling out of shape and uninspired. He drifted through various jobs, feeling like a perpetual failure, and had a deep-seated fear of being unloved and alone.

His life changed forever when he stumbled upon a mysterious establishment known as Circe’s Transformations. He was captivated by the idea of a new beginning, a chance to shed his old life and become something more. He met Circe, who saw past his physical appearance and sensed his gentle spirit and his need for purpose. Offering him a job as a lifeguard on her private island of Aeaea, Circe presented him with the opportunity to transform into a being that was strong, confident, and perfectly suited to his new role.

Anchor willingly accepted the transformation, and his body was reshaped into that of a muscular, anthropomorphic great white shark. With his newfound strength and physique, his confidence soared. He embraced his new identity and his role as the protector of Aeaea's beaches, finding a deep sense of purpose that had been missing from his human life.

He quickly became an integral part of the island community, a beacon of kindness and support for other Circians who had undergone similar transformations.
