Personality: Gunfire has a short temper. EVen the smallest things have found to anger him, and when he gets angry things happen. The black trail over his body is almost like a wick or gunpowder, but it never dissapears. It begins at his right hind, and swerves over his body. When angry, the trail catches alight from his leg, and flares up quickly over his body. From there he has little control, such as any human does when they are also so angry thoughts don't come into their mind until afterwards. We have had a few -incidents- with his fire abilities. Gun is also hot headed, and is feels no sorrow or guilt. Anything he does is forgotten quickly, without a murmour of regret. He has taken lives from his uncontrolled abilities... Gunfire is not bothered by heat, but much prefers sunrise and sunset to most of the day. His movements, although no one has ridden him, are smooth but can be quick. I wouldn't even want to ride him, not with his explosive attitude...

History: There was a large fire a few years ago, and much of the far fields were burnt on UOS. We raced out to the spot, only to find charred and black surroundings, with a lone stallion standing in the middle of the mess. Small traces of fire still burned on his coat, and I rushed in quickly to put them out. He avoided my contact, the small flames slowly diminishing without my help. I puzzled over it as I looked at the remains of what used to be a good green scene. There were a few bones, I assuming that they were equine. I looked back at the stallion, observing the way he moved. The heat which was still inflating from the ground did not bother him, nor the black trail across his body where I had seen the few sparks before. Quickly I realised he was an elemental, or close to one anyway. He resembled an explosive with a wick that once lit, could not be snuffed. From then I named him Gunfire, and he has not allowed anyone near him, enough to get tack on. He had another few series of these outbursts that left much of the land scorched, and dead equines. But it was the price to pay for having such a horse within our name.

Passable Traits: Wick/gunpowder like path over body. (Not necessarily in that path.) Black mane/tail/hooves. Red body colouring recessive.

We sent some tests off to see if Gun contained any 'natural blood' and it was surprising to find his genes showed E/AtA+/STY STY. We have come to the conclusion if he is to breed with natural coloured horses he will pass off natural offspring (provided the wick doesn't get passed on)
