Description
Made this to help me decide which design I wanted to make for my mask.The actual physical mask was made with an experimental Paper Mache formula I came up with.
- Spoiler Alert - I went with "D" that has red nails protruding out of the forehead.

could you design a mask for me? I have grey hoodie whit the shoulder bones and ribs and spine inprinted on the back. You dont need to "make" the mask. Just design it if you have time or want or are able to. I have a mom to do the rest XD. And i want something unique, that depicts the lust of slaughter, but holding back. If thats ok XD <3

yeah I could do that. design it I mean. Is a specific look you're going for? like scratched metal, clean lines, splattered dripping paint,blood stained, damaged/weathered, robotic, or just about anything you can think of I can probably come up with a way to make it into a design.

maybe metal, as a symbol of torment, and torture. Like pyramid head from silent hill. Obviously not comfortable in it. Or blood stained.

So something like old rusty metal with torment theme?

I like the idea of using rust because there are several places I can put it. it could be leaking rust, like from the eye sockets, nasal cavity, teeth gaps, or possibly from nails/screws/spikes poking through it. I could also have rust coming from scratches or the skull face design is made up of rust. As if someone took a metal mask and scraped/gouged/grind/carved a skull face into it and it oxidized from the bare metal being exposed.

I use my own recipe of paper mache on top of a base rigid wrap plaster-cloth face mold with a type of plastic wrap in between them. after drying I remove the paper mache which comes out super light weight and very very strong. I sand it down with an ultra fine sanding pad and a scratchy starched cloth.

So then you will mold it and cast it?

I use the plaster mask as a mold with plastic over it, then I layer paper mache over top of that.

I wish you would mass produce a few of these to sell. You would definitely have some buyers for sure! Although it would lessen the emphasis on the fact that you came up with the designs I suppose, so I can also see why you wouldn't want to.
