Description
A quick 1 to 2 hour study i just did as a warm up.i see the mistakes there but since this was just a speedpaint, i decided not to go in and render it and fix every single detail. i just focused on the main shapes and i'm happy with what i got so yeah.
i want to study the male anatomy more often because it's still a challenge to me. Specially the back muscles and the abs. Man... abs are the worst, they make no logic sense.

Maybe another suggestion, no offense, but look at how other people draw abs. Since I come from internet trash, I can tell you someone who has aced abs and could help you. tekitourabbit is a BOSS at drawing abs, male and female, even if they aren't human, and FURRIES draw abs all the time. Maybe check out some artwork online of abs in general. A fun thing about the internet is it is a pool of information. You can draw information from others until you gain more experience. You artwork is still far superior to mine, so this should help you out. I draw horribly in general, but sometimes I draw information from the internet. It makes it look better. But you don't have to, I'm just suggesting it because you say there are mistakes that I can't see, as when it comes to details of a actual figure, that's not my forte. I am good with colors and emotions, but not the other details.
Here is a link to tekitourabbit ->
it is NOT mine and I DON'T take credit for it, it all belongs to tekitourabbit and her alone.

He looks like he's wearing his brain on his back. That was the first thought that came to my mind. Do back muscles really look like that?
I must have never paid attention. Kudos to you for constantly trying to better yourself.

Haha right? i thought the same when i was painting it >.>
And, yes, the muscles on the back... are really weird. The muscles themselves are fine and symmetrical but when you add the fat and skin, ooooh boy, the back completely transforms itself.
But you're right i overdid it there Hmmmm, i think i'll go back to it at some point and refine it.
