Saw this little bird protecting his/her eggs, when i came close the bird just ran away but kept close enough to his eggs, and eventually came closer

ahhh...did u watch her? usually? if they see an enemy they'll run/fly away to a close location and put on this 'display' of where she'll have a 'broken wing'.....she flashes that wing around making it look like she's helpless so the enemy will follow HER instead of going to the nest.......

the babies when they hatch? will sit all still along the water line.......u almost step on them they'll jump up and practically RUN on the water with those little skinny legs...lol
