Description
so yeah.. this is how i do it XDthis is mainly for but it's also for anyone... a few people have been asking me how i colour/shade/outline things lately so i thought i might as well upload something like this
sorry for spelling mistakes that i've probably made.. i'm not going back and changing them!
ooooh i could probably also pass this off as college course work! :3 i just killed like 3 birds with one stone
if there's anything on this you don't understand (it probably doesn't make much sense) just ask me about it and i'll try my best to answer and not just confuse you more...

...wow. I wondered how you made your images and now that I know, it seems so complicated! Not for you, you must have done it so many times but never would it have crossed my mind to ever use this method. I admire how you're able to take advantage of such a different method.

haha it's more like compensating for the fact that i can't draw onto a computer XD
thank youuuu! it's actually not as complicated as it looks here... and i've only really been doing it this way for about half a year
i admire how you can colour so well with markers! your style of drawing and colouring is beautiful!

Complicated or not, it does seem time consuming. Yet most methods are aren't they? And thankyou again for about the umpteenth time.

I notice you have Adobe Photoshop, but could you tell me which program it is? (You know: Elements 7, CS4, etc...)
And because I REALLY want to try this, I have to know, is it okay to just use Sharpies for the outline?

i have Photoshop 7.0 but you could use this method on any of the versions (we have the newest one at college and i do it there)
and sure any black/dark pen is fine for the outline

wow.
THE BURN TOOL IDEA IS AMAZING!
I can't believe I never thought of that,..
thats awesome, because you dont have to re-draw your line art, so it gives your art its own sort of,.. dare I say, personality?
8D thats really awesome!
it must take you quite a while, but your art is definetally worth it.
keep up the awesome xD

Now this is something that could help me out quite a bit. Even though I don't use Photoshop, this can help me learn how to shade better in my pictures.

Kids these days and their Adobe Photoshop and their digitaly improved art and their cardgames...why, on MY days the outlining, coloring and shading was done MANUALLY!
( Jokes apart, this looks really cool I ought to try this sometime )
Now If you'll excuse me I have to take my pills before i forget to...

I want to try animating too! I took an animation class last semester but we did cutout animation
