I'm surprised that you like this one! Chalk pastel is definitely not my forte, and it was a challenge to get things to look dimensional. Impressionalism? Definitely an influence. Haha

Lol yes, oddly enough! It's the colors, I think. I like the blues and greens you chose, for some reason my eyes find them quite attractive. And the way you captured the view reminds me of looking out the passenger window in a car on a interstate highway - only a lot prettier! I wish it looks more like this on a city highway, anyway lol!

Oooh southern Indiana is just gorgeous! I live up north, so everything is as flat as a pancake. If you ever get the chance to drive through it sometime, you definitely should!

Wow, it sure is. (Okay I admit, I google-imaged it XD. Hey, that's what a Snooper does, right??) If I ever do, I will keep that in mind! I visited with relatives a couple years ago in Ohio. Southern Indiana reminds me of that...only a lot prettier. (Sorry, relatives! XD) I'm down in North Carolina, the countryside here is very different, but also pretty. Lots of Loblolly pine forests and marshes. I have come to learn that I vastly prefer rural and off-the-beaten-path places over uniform cities and suburbs. Any place that's natural and not 'touched' by man feels freer to me, I guess.
