what happens in the comic may not actually happen. since the game is set to release Nov 14. and is still being developed.

Indeed, most likely the area around Vault 76 will be a safe zone, or a community hub. Bethesda has said how they'd protect the area where players would enter the world for the first time.
But its a joke, and we can all enjoy a joke about general multiplayer experiences

I'm sorry you couldn't get your hands on one! I snatched one up as soon as it was listed. They do still have special editions out there! its the Tricentennial Edition and it does over in game goodies...but no power armor helmet :/
I imagine, like any online game it'll be a bit chaotic for the first month or so, but I subscribe to the philosophy of "Get Gud" and we'll be alright.

there was a serious big on the website. kept giving me error. when Im finally about to order when it got fixed, it said it was sold out. I was furious. still, theres good things I want. the pip boy 2000 kit and the tricentennial edition. Im going for those 2
me and my friends plan to build our own military. conaidering tmits 25 years after the nukes were launched by the US, Chinese, and possibly the Soviet Union (because they still were around. just weak)
we want to build one for security reasons. because the Brotherhood of Steel was formed, but theyre still in their giant underground facility in the West Coast
u tbink they will add easter eggs like the vault door of Vault 101?? considering how close u r to DC

I'm planning on doing a Minutemen-esque faction with my friends as well, once we've gotten good and have resources we want to help other players survive and eventually make a safe area for crafting/roleplaying.
I don't think we'll see anything in the DC area, I think we're confined to West Virginia. We might get a few references to the Capital Wasteland and the local vaults. I highly doubt we'll be seeing anything directly, Bethesda doesn't usually retread over something they've already done.

we're probably gonna do a remnants of a US Army Batalion thing and find a fort to set up in. get uniforms and all that. maybe have our CO be a Colonel, a Brigadier, or even a General. all I know is Im excited. be cool if we could run into the Vault-Tec CEO. but hes probably on that giant oil rig. a guy can dream
idk, I do have a feeling there will be scum bags camping near the vault entrance to kill the new players. or give players like invincibility from taking damage from other players until ur a certain distance from the comfortable vault
