i am watching your video and i have a question. How can you block the base color, so you can paint without going out the lines? in photoshop i block transparency, but in sai i don't know!

Above your layers you see three options: preserve opacity, clipping group and selection source. So If you have your base colors neatly in the lines and what to continue to color ontop of that layer than tick the preserve opacity but if you want to use another layer to color ontop of the base then tick clipping group. I hope that helped

when i click in preserve opacity, the layer block it and i cant paint, but with the other option it works! thxs!
