I just saw the new movie. (for character research purposes) "Got the Music in My Heart" - As cheesy as it is, there's finally a song from this MLP franchise that doesn't drive me up the wall. xDSPOILER!!!
Sunset Shimmer is awesome. It seems that Twilight just wasn't enough to stop the Sirens. At last there's some red to complete the friendship rainbow. xD

If it were the season finale, either it'd be the end of FiM or they'd have to go on without Rarity. I suppose they could also resurrect her, but that would be cheap. And, of course, we see they don't like to have things die. Especially main characters.
