Normally I refuse to draw holiday themed pictures or characters. But after getting suckered into an anime contest to draw a holiday themed character, this is what I came up with. Mostly the contest was to redesign any .hack character and make it look somewhat cute.The characters are Sakisaka (left) and Tabby (right) from the anime .hack//Roots.

i got a question in hack//roots theme before the episode starts do you know what those crystals are better way to explain in the episode 2 sakisaka held something in his hand what was it he was holding it was something in glass

The crystal-like objects your thinking of are actually 'Virus Cores' -- or more specifically, Naobi's version of them.
It was a fake item in .hack//Roots that Naobi used to lure the Twilight Brigade into his trap, just to get at Ovan. Virus Cores originally appeared in .hack//INFECTION and were seen throught the ps2 game series. Though, in the game, Virus Core were never really a tangible object, more like a key code Kite obtained from using data drain on enemies.
