Really amazing shot.I'd love to visit such a place. Though I would've liked this photo a lot more if the horses didn't have the saddles on them. Ah well...probably goes to show that nature is slowly and steadily being reined by man, and free will is just a concept of the past.

I'm not sure. I think it taints the shot a little. Without it the eye would be drawn to the horse that you can see fully. Thus, maximising impact. Maybe. I dunno. It's a fantastic shot regardless, I'm just being silly. I'll get my coat...

i can understand your description. it looks like a horse perusing the astroturf on a stage with a horse silhouette prop in the rear.
this is fantastic. the sky looks amazing. you caught both horses at the perfect time, which I'm sure was a task in itself. i think the most amazing part about this shot is how the horse in the foreground is positioned exactly along the horizon curve.

Lovely picture. I love the wide open space between them and the colors are fantastic. The silouette of the horse on the right gives me the feeling he/she is jealous of the other, with that look on his face. Perhaps it's just a secret admirer? Who knows? Not me
