I don't know how it is written in the game, but in the polish stories it is written with a J. As you've seen it transliterated, I guess the variation with the Y comes from russian?

Love it! Reminds me a lot of an old movie from 1973 I watched in my childhood. The name is "Der Hirsch mit dem Goldenen Geweih" or "Golden Horns" and the witch in the forest, baba yaga, lives in a similar cabin. Very beautiful!Β Β
