Description
Challenge #1 for VoSGo to Viridis and gather some healing herbs from the fields, try to play nice, we don't want to start any conflict... for the time being.
Kavus is having trouble finding the feverfew, so he's looking for someone to help him. Unfortunately, he's put so much effort into looking big and scary (and killing things, and making sure everyone knows about the things he's killed) that when he needs to ask an innocent, non-big-and-scary question, the nice people of Viridis tend to run away.

Oh man, my advice is usually pretty bad! I guess just keep drawing all the time, and practice drawing from life if you can? (That last part helped me a ton!)

Well, that's just a matter of getting used to the tools! I spent a lot of time scouring DA for tutorials--I still do, actually. XD It took me a lonnnng time to figure out how to use Photoshop properly, and I'm still learning at it.

I love the movement of this still and how you can pretty much imagine the conversation without any dialogue.

Loving this character! The kind that looks like a toughie who's actually a softie except he really is just a toughie xD (y/n?)
The design is really nice and clean, and it's nice to see characters with facial markings that don't stand out as looking arbitrary (this goes for both Kavus & Manu).
Real nice overall! I second the motion that the cleanliness of this made me think it might be an animation still (a fake one, but still!) I would totally watch this if it were real.

Yeah! I was a little put out at first since the preditor and herbivore places (can't remember the names at the moment) were closed since I didn't want to be a fish or bird. XD But with some looking around I found an omnivore that I really like.

lol i simply love this. thte expression and half-body-ness(don't know wat u call it) is good, and the colouring job is just beautiful. u can tell they're in a forest with the lighting and ur awsome for being able to do so.

It really does show the story you wrote. The perspective and the emotions are brilliant.

To be fair, who wouldn't be a bit edgy when someone shows up packing a SET OF GUNS LIKE THAT.
i wonder if it would be easier to trick you into drawing him saying a Worf line, or saying 'Welcome to the gun show'. hmmmmmmmm....
