With the random generator, Turkey was the next character to pop up, so he gets his turn. =^^=

Flames and bashing will simply be put in my furnace - it's still pretty cold here.

Japan/Kiku Honda [Weekend Combo]:
They get along rather well together, and I find it funny and cute how Sadik is really fond and protective of Kiku (during one April Fool's event, he threatened France that he would invade him if he tried to do something on Japan). I also find it an interesting contrast between the two, as Sadik is visibly one of the older nations, but he's very lively, vigorous, and is always seeking new things and fashion - even always staying in style, which is something you'd more commonly see in someone younger; meanwhile Kiku is younger looking yet he's very quiet, shy, polite, has a lot of tolerance and patience, and is even described as being more like an old man. With Kiku having more tolerance and patience, he'd be able to work well with Sadik, who gets very competitive. Also, Sadik's got a soft spot for Kiku, so it might not be so hard to get him to back down from a fight or hopeless joust if Kiku were to try and get him to stop.

Nyo!Japan/Sakura [Tulip & Blossom]:
Being described as a yamato nadeshiko, Nyo!Japan is somewhat similar to Kiku in terms of personality (polite, patient, etc.), except she'd probably be far more traditional, and probably even shyer than he is. Still, I feel that a man like Turkey would be able to get her to smile quite easily with how merry he is. At the same time, her gentle and highly patient nature would be able to soothe him in an instant, and he'd get back to being cheery and upbeat in no time, if he's angry or in a bit of a slump. He would also really appreciate her loyalty.

Iceland/Emil Steilsson [Soil Ice]:
Admittedly, I prefer to portray these two as a couple more if it was a human AU, as I have Sadik either go through a jail-bait wait since Icy is still a bit young, or just both be legal adults. Otherwise, if it's the normal Hetalia setting, then I prefer a more best friends, father-son relationship or precocious crush on Icy's side with these two. Admittedly, this did start from the Christmas Bloodbath where Iceland was shown to worry about Turkey a lot, and the two got along quite well, surprisingly.

Nyo!France/Genevieve Dubois [Stylish Pair]:
This was somewhat accidental, but now I really like the idea of this couple. Nyo!France is described as a snob, and she appears quite stylish and fashionable - why not be with a man who is is always staying in style and seeks new fashion? Plus, with Turkey being a friendly person who is also quite the gourmet, I can see Nyo!France really getting into him and being quite happy that there is a man who could possibly match her when it comes to style, taste and competition (I do like the idea of her being a bit competitive). Sadik would also see that though she's quite haughty, when it comes to what matters most - family - she's as sweet as sugar. Though admittedly, he does get quite flustered when she makes very forward moves on him in public. They can live happily with good food and good style.

Vietnam/Pham An Lien [Sugary Lotus]:
Zerochan again was to blame for the start of this pairing - there was a really pretty and cute picture, and after thinking about the personality dynamics, it could definitely work, I feel. Though at first it seems like it wouldn't work as Vietnam is quiet and humble, while Turkey is quite vigorous, upbeat and a bit of a show-off, he is still very friendly, and he likes entertaining tourists. Plus, with his old age, and him not being a person who can't read the atmosphere (he'd probably be able to do it) and getting along with the quiet Kiku, I think he'd know how to speak and handle a quiet person like Ms Vietnam. Also, with being merry and loving to entertain people, Sadik would most likely try and think of ways to get Vietnam smile.

Sweden/Berwald Oxenstierna [Lion & Wolf]:
This is the pairing I probably ship the both of them with the most. This time, I blame pixiv for it. The personalities contrast a lot, with Sweden being more quiet and serious looking, while Turkey is more lively and merry, but those contrasts are what could make it work out, I feel. Plus, despite his seriousness, Sweden is actually playful deep down - I think he'd actually quite enjoy Turkey's more humorous and friendly company. Sweden also gets embarrassed quiet easily, and because of this, he becomes too shy to say anything - I'm sure Turkey could think of ways to get him back on his feet again. That or he'd give some light teasing. Another interesting note is that despite being quiet, Sweden is interested in arguments and debates - Turkey is competitive, and so if Turkey were to get into a debate or argument with someone, he'd more observe the whole thing with interest.
