..:.:: Cakes for Liech ::.:.. — Description
Though it's technically a day past where I am, happy birthday to Liechtenstein!

To celebrate, she has some cake offered to her on her special day. =^^=

Note: If you don't like the ship or don't like my opinion or interpretation of Liechtenstein or any of the other characters, don't bother with flames. If you try, it's gonna be ineffective as it's actually really cold here where I am, and I'll just use them to fuel my heater and use it to live another day~ X3

Hong Kong/Leon Wang [Fire Crown]:
This, along with RomaLiech, was probably my first Liechtenstein ship. Like in most of the pairings I ship, the personality dynamic plays a great role. Hong Kong is rather stoic, however he is actually a mischievous prankster who loves to play jokes with his firecrackers (especially setting them on England). He's also described as a "sturdy big bro" when the time comes. Liech meanwhile is a proper lady who's more humble and mature, yet is also tech-savvy. I do like the idea of Hong Kong being in the middle of his firecracker pranks, but when Liech comes in, he gets flustered - because she's a proper lady who'd probably not like the prank as she'd be concerned of the other person's well-being. Thus, Hong Kong would feel a bit bad, and probably try to keep in line just to make his little lady happy and not worry.

Romano/South Italy/Lovino Vargas [Mafia Daughter]:
Along with HongLiech, these were my first Liechtenstein ships. However, though I don't like the name at all since Romano is shown to be canonically afraid and even hate his own mafia (though I'll stop before I rant about it - I'll save it for the journal series). Still, I love Romano's personality dynamic where he's kind and gentle to women, but to men it's a different story. To a little lady like Liech, you could expect him to be quite a sweetheart, and treat her well. Though I must admit, it'd also be amusing seeing him try and hold back from swearing or snapping in front of her. XD though to be fair, Liechtenstein would probably be able to handle his temper (look at Switzerland's temper).

England/Arthur Kirkland [Embroidery Sets]:
This started from that one moment when England and Liech were featured in the strip about soccer. It showed England being a bit more playful, and it also showed Liech's more competitive side, too. England keeps proclaiming he's a gentleman, and Liech is basically, as mentioned many times before, probably the most lady-like female character in the cast. It'd be interesting to see more between them. Plus, considering Liechtenstein can handle her big brother Switzerland's temper and mood swings without raising her eyebrows, she could probably be able to handle his temper.

Romania/Andrei Andalescu [Crown Hat]:
I discovered this ship when I one time went to zerochan. There was a picture at the front page of this couple, and hook, line and sinker - I was hooked. X3 much like Hong Kong, Romania is described as a mischievous individual. However, he is also cheerful, and a "merry oddball." Despite his mischievous appearance, though, he's a hard worker, and is good at reading the atmosphere. Romania's personality is a good balance for Liech - though he's mischievous, he's good at reading the atmosphere, so he would have a good idea on what to do and when to do it, too, so he'd probably be able to cheer up Liech if she ever felt down. With his love for fairy-tale princesses, he would try to make her smile, and treat her like a princess.

Nyo!Belarus/Nikolai Arlovsky [Winter Crown]:
This was discovered back some where in...2013 or 2014? I created a pic just for my amusement because for some reason it just popped in my head - Liech rolling a flower cart, and Nyo!Belarus buying a flower and putting it in her hair. Then, I ended up shipping it. XD this is the only form of BelaLiech I support (and no, it's not because I dislike shoujo-ai - I actually have several shoujo-ai ships, just not seen yet). Either way, as mentioned before, I portray Nyo!Belarus as a grouchy and anti-social individual who gets easily irritated. However, if you place him with a mature individual who is humble, then the probability of his irritation will go down. He'll soften upon seeing that she's a good person, and may even start to get shy himself.

Greece/Herakles Karpusi [Cat Crown]:
I don't hate any character in Hetalia, which is a pretty good achievement as I usually hate at least one person in whatever I watch/read (the other series to achieve this from me being Free!). The worst I feel for a character in Hetalia is indifference or just going, "Cool," then moving on. Greece is actually one of those very characters. I still don't highly regard him as much as most of the other characters (though nowadays, my interest is somewhat tapped a few times). This ship started to begin from an RP. I was Liechtenstein, and the other person was Greece. And my God, it was fluff galore. It started with Liech trying to find Italy's cat, Gino/Itabby, then she bumps into Greece. He volunteers to help, and they find some of the Nekotalia cats. It was pretty funny, and it ended with the both of them falling asleep on a green hill. So, yes, fluff galore. I do know Greece is interested with sex, but at the same time, he's also a thinker, and a nice guy. He'd probably just enjoy Liech's company and have great conversations with her as she's mature despite her appearance. I can see him asking her philosophical questions and Liech beginning to get intrigued and start to wonder about such matters. I get the feeling that Greece needs someone who would at least be interested with such subject, yet at the same time, he'd be intrigued with the dynamic Liech has - that is, she appears youthful, but is mature, and is new to certain aspects (e.g. not understanding a casual greeting between Hong Kong and Seychelles).
