Personality:
Merlin is a young wizard with a passion for his craft and aspirations to follow in his mentor's footsteps. He's a show-offy guy who likes nothing more than to show off his newest tricks to anyone who'll watch. While he's not an optimist most of the time, that can quickly change when magic is involved. He loves going on adventures and will take any and every opportunity to satiate his curiosity and adventurous heart.

Merlin is also clever and cunning, with a natural out-of-the-box way of thinking, but in times of stress this can often slip, and he'll sometimes be the victim of casting the wrong spell or performing a spell wrong. One of those times being when he was the victim of a strange unnaturally intense flea outbreak. He tried casting a spell to get rid of the fleas, only to accidentally make one of them massive. This flea ended up staying in his house and Merlin decided to keep it. Eventually, the little guy ended up becoming his magic familiar.

History:
He lived in a small village that highly discouraged magic, to the point that those who could use it and were found out were arrested on the spot. When he was a baby, his parents found out he had a natural affinity for magic, so they abandoned him in fear of getting arrested.

An old wizard found him and took him in, raising him as a son, and eventually teaching him how to use magic. However, his mentor was found out and arrested. They knew Merlin could use magic too, but before they could arrest him, Malabar, the wizard, cast a spell that suddenly transported Merlin somewhere far away, and that place just so happened to be lillypad.

After a time, he was sent Malabar's treasured spellbook, which he used and tried to practice with while waiting for his mentor's arrival, which he was sure would happen eventually. In this time he accidentally cast the wrong spell on a flea, making it grow to the size of a munchkin cat. Merlin decided to keep him, basically adopting him as a pet. Merlin managed to get his own home, and was then visited by Malabar's familiar, Cookie. A message around Cookie's leg informed him that his mentor was executed for his magic use, and he blamed himself for it. Cookie then crumbled to dust, leaving behind Malabar's amulet, and Cookie's collar.

Merlin decided to do the best he could do, taking the amulet and putting it around his neck, while his flea, Freud, ended up with Cookie's collar.

Power List:
-Can cast spells and make potions to varying degrees of result. (A power he had before the amulet.)
[Note for mods: Any potions outside of typical 'witch' are very temporary and most likely only last about an hour. No permanent changes nor any in-game effects are expected. His spells vary wildly as well, but cannot preform 'fantastical feats of power', granting targets special powers are also off-limits. Hypnosis and mind control are also ] (Now given drawback of only generally positive/blessing effects.)
-He can now manipulate Fire, Earth, and Water. However, he has lost the ability to manipulate Air, Darkness, and Electricity. [This effects the ability he had before the amulet.]
-He can now shapeshift into 9 more forms, per natural witch abilities.
-He can now brew witch potions, including brewing them on the full moon.
