dAHack BETA 1 - Application — Description
dAHack2 is coming soonish.. dA really needs to learn how to use the ID attributes for tags. It would make my life SO much easier.. damn you dAv5!!
Stop! This is not really a hack. It's more of a way to manipulate your dA homepage for fun. Read on to learn more

Note: This is NOT a permanent page changer. This is a temporary page changer that is useful for screenshots and for fooling your friends. It is NOT hacking, but editing a COPY of your page, on your computer. It cannot in any way change your REAL dA page

Note: If you get a message about outdated files, download [link] that file, and it should run correctly.. hopefully. The next version will run without dependencies

Ever wanted to be an admin at dA? or wanted to have 999,999,999 pageviews and have a $ next to your name? Well you can't, but you can make it look like you have.

Introducing: dAHack! This program lets you load up your deviantART homepage, and change your username, pageviews, number of shouts / deviations / scraps etc. you have, without getting in trouble. This program written by me lets you grab a copy of your dA page, and temporarily change your username, 'deviant since', scraps, staff merits etc. When you reload your dA page, everything is back to normal. This is FANTASTIC for screenshots, fooling your friends, getting the elusive 50,000 pageviews without actually having people visit your site.

This is dAHack, the most fun you can have with your dA page

This was written in Visual Basic 6.0, and comes as a full installer, at 1.29mb big. Install, load up your dA page, and start messing around! Here is what you can change in Beta 1 of dAHack:

Pageviews (Fixed a bug that prevented subscribers from changing pageviews)

Stats (eg. Member, admin etc.)

deviantART user-toolbar editor, which will let you edit your "General, Gallery, Scraps" toolbar with a 'wysiwyg' format

BUG codes and explanations:

BUG1: When art is added to the gallery, the pixel-thick line at the bottom of the gallery is not drawn properly, will fix that next release
BUG2: Watchers are added right to left, so inserting 1 watcher will add them to the RIGHT of your watchers list. Looking into fixes for that

Warning. This is a beta release. It does work, but is prone to crashes and things like that. This is designed NOT to hurt your computer, but I won't be held responsible if something does happen. This tool is NOT endorsed by dA, and is NOT to be used for cheating in competitions, fooling people into believing that you are an Administrator or whatever. It is designed for fun, hence the category "Devious fun". Report any bugs here, but please don't request new features. dA's HTML layout is not the greatest for working with, but I am doing what I can with my spare time, and will add new stuff when I stumble across it. Basic HTML knowledge is required for a few sections of this application. You can survive without knowing it, but it helps..
