"Butterfly Stone" was inspired by a torn monarch butterfly wing lying on a river stone, spotted on a lazy summer day while rafting. This fairy took on a personality of her own as the sketch progressed through the inking and coloring processes.Pencil/colored pencil/ink/etching on 8.5 x 11" archival paper.

I really like it! I would love to see you deepen the colors, add contrast; if you scanned this, a quick levels adjustment might do the trick! Great work... I end up drawing fairies alot too...nice job.
