Revy's sad because Giulia hasn't been drawing her and Rock for a while, all that time spent in loneliness until Rock comes in being all "Yeah I know them feels"
Its always fantastic to see them back and being drawn in your artstyle dude, there's a certain synergy to your artworks that really bring out this sense of fun in their antics together which I can't help but find so endearing ya know? : )
One thing I will say though is that if you've got a drive to draw them you'll fine some inspiration.
It can come from the strangest of places, I mean, I can't say I ever would've expected to have seen the two bouncing away from gunfire on pogo sticks but there you have it, your art style just made it work XD
Either way the message in this artwork is a pretty fitting representation of your passion to draw these two, especially how it ties into their sad empty looks, they're just waiting for some more action.
: ) It seems even in the absence of your desire to draw Rock and Revy you have found a way to bring them back by having them reflect the way that you miss them. Its fantastic!

^^ Being the slasher fan I am, when you hear about such thrilling titles like 'Jason Takes Manhattan' or 'Leprechaun Back 2 Da Hood' you tend to let your brain run wild with endless possibilities. It'd be amusing to see what you could do with them.
Although now that you mention it I really need to go rewatch the Machete movies.
