  Roller coaster heartbeats
   And construction paper revolvers.

My eyes locked on freckled glass
  Floor boards soaking up my feeble breaths

  Tomorrow promises rain,
And I wait under the skylight until the clouds awaken
   Mind lost in late night conversations
…Rewound and replayed

I think I left my heart under his leopard print bedspread

     .And it’s still waiting there to be found.
