This is one outstanding photo. It's almost like the woman is part of the water and she is part of the flow. Would love to know how the photo was made.

Beautiful. Looks to good to not have been done in the darkroom of the camera, but gives hints of tru-to-life-isms. Either way, a gorgeous image.

I can't help but picture a grizzly bear up the top there catching the nymph in its jaws as she springs out of the stream...
Salmon...you know......

I like it by the way.

Fascinating dynamic. The line of her body suggests to me a movement up, while the water draws that same line in reverse. Intriguing and of course very beautiful.

kudos to the model as well, that couldn't have been easy!

Makes me wonder what it looked like in (real-life) colour ... was it sunny? It looks a little cold!

It was a small waterfall not as forcefull as one would think....walking around the rocks below was definately more risky. Good to share your thoughts. Cheers, Gerhardt

That's true, but the traffic and the expense of owing and driving a car make it basically inaccessible. I no longer own a car at all. Too much of a drain. When I need one I rent.

Even in rural or semi rural areas you get traffic jams and traffic slows to walking speed for hours at a time. Too many people here. You have to drive well over 50 miles in some cases to escape the city.

??? No car ... I lived outsdide NYC yet had two cars. I have no doubt that lifestyles change however am floored you can get around without a vehicle!

I take the bus, Subway once in a great while since it doesn't go anywhere practical. I usually have my models pick me up when we go on location. Both Wenona and Escura drove when we shot in the mountains. Betcee always drives, even when we're just having lunch. I'm a member of ZipCar so I can get a car for a day, a week or just 3 hours. There's absolutely no place to park in my neighborhood, there's only parking for 1/3 of the apartments in my building, so owning a car would be an even bigger expense than usual. I'm quite happy not to have a car after 35 years of pouring good money into a series of rat holes.

Sounds worse then Sydney yet the transport sounds better... I never did catch what city you were in and I was unaware of how busy things have become. Cheers mate, G

I live in Los Angeles. California is extremely built up because of the car culture. There's hardly a place you can go down here to get away.

Believe-Hope aka Tash has extended an invitation to me to crash on her couch in her funny little Yellow house anytime

I just have to come up with the time and the airfare.
