Oh. Does he still shed them yearly as wild deer do, or are his static like the horns of a goat - Never shedding?

Hum! Didn’t think about that when I was drawing! I’d like to think he’d shed them come the spring- even though I find it a bit spooks Should have made him more like an elk! I don’t think they loose their antlers either.

I'm not sure. I mean, I know female elk/caribou have antlers, but last I checked, I think all antlers get shed, but I might be wrong.
However, considering he is fictional, he doesn't have to shed them necessarily. 

I do find it amusing how often people seem to forget that deer shed antlers though - Male deer are always shown/drawn with antlers, but in reality, they do spend a time of their lives without them yearly.

So true! It's probably a stereotype because of movies and other media like you said. Now that I think about it, that film Bambi- the male deer have their antlers all the time! It's what I was looking at it for reference.

I thought the style looked sort of like that... I didn't draw the connection until you mentioned though, because I had never been given a chance to watch Bambi.
