I have not played this game, and i`m so glad for that... beside Capcom ruined Claire`s character as much as they could do, they made her some kind in shade of the main game`s plot - Barry and Moira.
Maybe this game have the atmosphere of old RE parts, i still think it is just a potboiler

It was a great RE game, but the story could have been much more, and they pretty much ruined Claire's personality :/

Yes, one of the few regrets on REV2 is that it makes Claire look pretty dumb.

So, I can`t say that this game was soooooo great :[ personally I was dissapointed. Why - i wrote here: 6geksuroll9.deviantart.com/art… (yeah, i wanted to see Steve in this game, and there were many arguments in favor of this idea..... -_- )
About Claire... crapcom did make her an austere soldier. She had not even found a common language with Natalia (as an example. there are a lot of another examples of destructive Claire`s character). And her storyline no more dramatic, aahhhh....
And she becomes similar to Claire from the film (especially seen this version of the manga "Heavenly Island") T_T

Yes, so many things could have made Steve's return possible in this game. We can only hope that Claire will return in RE7...I hope the game ending leads to that.
The thing with Natalia and Claire didn't bother me THAT much, but yeah....there was nothing personal about her in that game. She was just some sort of support to Moira, nothing else. It was fun playing as her, but story-wise...ugh...
(yeah, she does look a bit like her movie version...but I don't find it bad to be honest)
