Apparently it's an ancient custom of his country. It's better explained in the episode (a personal favorite of mine I might add) "Wish You Were Ed" where we get a rough version of Rolf's homeland. And we learn the lyrics to "That's My Horse!" too!

I gotta say I love all your Rolf translation pictures as well as your other Ed Edd N Eddy pictures i'm a huge fan of the Ed boys but hey I got another Rolf translation you could try out if its cool you know the Valintine episode well the part where the pixies try to shoot Rolf with their arrows he blocks them all and says "You tickle Rolf's radish"
