Its all explained in the tutorial. At first it was a beginner's tutorial, but pros can also benefit from it.Here are some of my HDR Pics done with this procedure:

You should add increasing the contrast and adjusting the saturation to part of the HDR process, because images look kind of bland strait from the conversion to 8-bit. And, adjusting the curves can help bring out highlights and shadows.)

i dont think one of ur pictures was blurry, trees seldomly stand absolutely still so even if you didnt notice it, every picture the friggin trees had other positions. hence the blurred image

yeah I figured that, but the second one (compared to the others) is way blurrier.

"QTPFSGUI" is a great alternative to PhotoShop, it offers tone maps and it's free. Check my gallery for some samples using the Fattal algorithm.

This is already a pretty old tutorial, you got some good stuff. Hell now a days I can take decent HDR on my phone technology can get pretty ridiculous sometimes lol.

I have several examples using HDRI on moving objects. It gives a nice feeling of momentum to the images.

you can't make HDR of moving objects, if your main focus is that moving object. The idea is to take a lot of photos of the exact SAME thing, only with different settings. So, unless you move and are able to change the settings at the speed of light, I don't think you can do it, unfortunately
And RAW is only a file-format which is uncompressed - a JPEG-file is what your camera compresses the image into. With RAW, the camera stores all it's settings into that image-file, so that you can edit it more accurately.
