Description
June 16th, 2014Sort of an annoying day weather-wise. I was stuck at work while storms exploded just a couple hours away in northeast Nebraska. The storms would go on to produce the infamous twin tornadoes near Pilger, Nebraska. Would have loved to have been there to document/help clean up immediately after, but that's the way life goes sometimes. Since I was a bit frustrated with the day, I decided to drive a couple hours west to Lindsay, NE in hopes of catching at least something stormy to shoot that day. Didn't see the biggest, baddest storm of the day, but I did witness a fairly nice sunset ahead of some storms that produced this shelf cloud and lightning. At the end of the day, chasing (for me) isn't all about seeing the craziest thing. It's just about getting out there and enjoying whatever nature throws at you
