So I was a bit nervous taking on the hood of Ezio I was very happy with my Altair hood but this one seemed much more complicated but in the end it was actually easier. I think a lot of that had to do with the fact I know much more about pattern making, and construction in general. I wide knowlege of different techniques will always make things easier.So let me know what you think! I'm making good progress on this costume, I've got one month to get it finished!

The hood comes with the pattern, the pattern is for the whole costume. I'm not currently making patterns though.

Yes I do sell patterns for the costume. Just the main tunic and hood though not the undershirt and pants.

lol I dont know, it'd be a lot of work and since I'm not doing that costume myself if I did do it I'd probably have to charge more than I do for the other ones for labor.

yeah I actually drafted the pattern myself and sell it for a small fee (gotta pay to copy it out and mail it)

heyhey force.. so THATS what y'all were meaning by "pleating".. think this'll be a good jumping point, as I hadn't done the edging yet (been pretty much taking a "I'll figure it out when i get there" approach, but hadn't gotten around to figuring it out lol..
(i still think they totally BS'ed a texture on there though lol)

lol yeah it confused me so much but this is the closest thing I could think of to do for it. And from the side it looks just like it. It's pretty easy just take a strip of fabric fold it the way you want it and iron it like an accordion. These are called box pleats. You're good at everything though so I'm sure you can figure it out XD

well I used my altair hood as a base for it cut out a basic hood shape in my pattern paper and then drew onto that shape where all the seams go then cut the pattern into those pieces accordingly and it all worked out when I put it together. I had to make it extra large as well to get it to fall correctly. I am planning on offering copies of my patterns at a small price for this costume so if you'd be interested I can see if we can arrange something.

I havent yet, but I've been wanting to for the longest time. I've thought about going to Anime North a few times but it's always so close to Acen that I usually cant afford it. Someday hopefully.
