Who am I...? — Description
Another Pride Ed picture, because I felt motivated to draw him again after the last picture.

this picture is inspired by the chinese fanmade game "Bluebird's Illusion", you can find the english translation of the whole walktrough here:

the scene I depicted here actually isn't exactly from the game, it's rather based on an alternate ending since - SPOILER: - Roy and Al actually die in the Pride Ed ending of the game.

I thought about drawing a scene that shows the first encounter of Roy and Alphonse with Ed after he got changed into a homunculus. Pride, not knowing who he is or was, of course doesn't recognize them and only stares with an empty look at the ground. He can't remember anything and doesn't feel anything but still there's a small tear that somehow makes it's way down his cheek...
Alphonse still can't really believe or understand what happened to his brother. He is worried and wants to run to Ed but Roy - who realized it's not Ed anymore - holds him back.

I drew the three of them the way I thought they would react in this situation. I guess Roy's reaction was the most difficult for me, I can imagine him being in a strong conflict with himself. On the one hand he's shocked at what he sees and worried about his subordinate, he wants to help him - on the other hand he recognizes the threatÂ the new homunculus is posing and that most likely Ed will never come back to them. He wants to help Ed if there's a way but he also sees him as an enemy now and needs to protect Alphonse and himself.

well, hope you all like this picture, it took me quite some time to finish it (because SAI was striking and almost drove me insane with crashing over and over again while I was working on the picture...)
