Thanks glad you spotted the stag beetle influence I have always loved insects and stag beetles are amazing, Art and biology/zoology were my two passions . I see from your gallery you are into weird animals too

Yep, that's my thing, I actually work with all sorts of strange animals so I never get too far from them !! But there are times I wish I had more time to do more art stuffand reach your caliber, but I guess you can't have everything !

I use use all the chalk and pastel brushes in photoshop at 50 % so you get a sort of painty texture for free

Hi thanks seems we share a few interests - Dr Who Fantasy and I just finished listening to Narnia (again) as it was on the Radio - read some of your stuff literature seems to suffer a bit here on DA -its so much easier to take in a single picture than read several pages.

It doesen't help that so much literature on DA is really badly written. A lot of writers don't seem to see the necessity of proper paragraphing or even spelling and grammar.
