Profile fullbody, 3/4 full body, Back headshot, Random expession I did of him I enjoy, and finally his Police uniform.
Name: Sapphire Sights
Nicknames: Sapphire
Personality: Sapphire is a very jumpy and easily frightened stallion. He can often times be found staring off into space or muttering to himself about evil creatures and everypony's fates. He is usually seen as stupid because of how he usually wont respond to anyone talking to him or trying to ask him a question. {The only person he's a bit more calm around is Jack, mostly because of the fact of trusting him and feeling protected around him.
History: Sapphire was born with the ability to see certain parts of the future. Unfortunately, everyone just thought he was crazy and seeing things. His family moved out of Cloudsdale and down to Canterlot after he attempted to jump from a cloud and made accusations that the Weather Factory was evil and dangerous. When he got to school-age, he was always paranoid since he heard so much about schools being scary and bad. He got his cutiemark when he was able to predict a strange rainbow appearing in the sky (Which ended up being Rainbow Dash's sonic rainboom). Lots of other ponies didn't understand why his cutiemark had nothing to do with the rainbow but he barely even noticed he got it.} He had spent most of his adult life after this, in an asylum kind of place with his elderly caretaker Helping Hand. Then he met Jack Gage.
He and Helping Hand were taking a walk through Ponyville, a rare treat for him as he usually just had to stay confined so he didn't hurt himself, when he passed by a dark grey stallion who he got a vision about. He saw the other in the future, leading a pony to his house and murdering them. He immediately ran from his caretaker and went over to him, screaming and trying to warn those around him that Jack was a murderer. Of course no one believed him like usual. Once Helping hand got over to him, she apologized profusely before dragging a screaming and frustrated Sapphire away from Jack.
That night, Sapphire couldn't stand the idea of himself knowing another pony could be about to be murdered and felt an urge to try and stop it. He got out of the asylum by predicting that when the guard outside his cell would drift off that night, he'd be free to grab the key ring from the guards uniform and unlock his door. His plan worked and he escaped. He recognized the house from his vision and simply waled over and knocked on the door. But just as the door was opening, he got a vision of himself being knocked out. Unfortunately, the whole situation played out just as the actual event was happening. Before he knew it, a chloroform rag was pressed to his face and he was asleep.
When he awoke, he was tied up in a chair and was in a dark room. Jack, the dark pony from before, stepped over to him and began saying how he knew too much. After exchanging some tense conversation with each other, Jack questioned why he wasn't scared. To which he responded, "I see death and terror everyday. I feel hell each night before I fall into a dreamless sleep. I live in a grey cell and can barely ever experience the world around me. Death would be the best blessing you could give me..."
Jack was a bit pitiful of him and they made a deal. In exchange for Sapphire's silence, he'd live. Plus, even if Sapphire did try to tell anyone, he'd be seen as just a psycho like usual.
Later that morning, Sapphire and Jack spent a bit of a tense morning together and they simply talked together. They slowly began to bond as Sapphire explained how he knew Jack was a killer and Jack explained why he killed in a general. They started to see a bit of themselves in eachother and bonded a little. But that was interrupted by Asylum officials coming and knocking on the door. Jack returned Sapphire to them, claiming that he'd come in the middle of the night and that he just decided to give him a safe place to stay the night rather than being left outside.
Soon after, Helping Hand died of simple old age. This left Sapphire even more depressed and anxious than usual and his condition plummeted. He continuously escaped at night, always able to out-predict the guards and find a way to get out. Each night he went to Jacks house and talked to him. Eventually, they decided to simply ask Jack if he'd be willing to just be Sapphire's new caretaker. He agreed and even got him a job with him as a cop. He now lives with Jack in his house and works at the local police station, predicting crimes and telling where they happen so they can stop them before any real harm can come.
Fun Facts!!
- He has a horrible habit of over-preening or ripping out his feathers, making his flying abilities much worse than other pegasi.
- His condition has admittedly improved since he met Jack, if just a little.
- After having him for so long, I actually found a quote-unquote theme for him. It's really just a song that reminds me of him, which is Midnight Flight by Yeti.
So yeah! That's Sapphire's new MEGA Updated backstory!

Do you mean for commissions or to buy the character? Because I'm always open for art trades but the character is not for sale.

No. Not the character. And I'd do an art trade, but I suck at drawing. I'm not that confident in it.
