UED Ravager Heavy Corvette View — Description
This is a perspective view of one of my original designs, the Ravager Class Heavy Corvette.

Basic Description:

The Ravager Class Heavy Corvette, designed and used by The United Empire of Dimensions as part of their initial generation of combat starships. The Ravager represents the smallest of the initial wave of UED Starships, coming in at 160 Meters in length, 60 Meters in width, and 75 Meters in Height/Depth including the engine nacelles. The Ravager, and other Corvettes like it, are meant to act as highly mobile screening vessels, armed with primarily short ranged point defense guns which are able to engage both incoming enemy ordnance, as well as hostile strike craft. It's two engine nacelles, each housing the ship's primary Repulsor Thruster Arrays and 12 small Ion Engines, give the Ravager near starfighter levels of speed and maneuverability that allow it to weave in between the ships it means to protect against fighters and ordnance while allowing it to retreat behind cover if it faces firepower it can't handle. While being a Heavy Corvette, and mounting 4 Dual Medium Plasma Cannons, the Ravager is by no means a direct combat vessel, with it's medium weapons, mounted in the prow, meant more for engaging other corvettes or small starships while flying in hunter groups. While the Ravager does also possess fairly strong shields for it's size, it is almost completely unarmoured, and will succumb quickly to almost any attack from anything larger than strike craft or other corvettes.
