Chalk it up to my happily pagan tendencies, but my first impression on seeing this lovely portrait was of a grain goddess or nymph rejoicing in the feel of her natural realm. That image is enhanced by the blending of the colors of the wheat with her golden hair and sun-kissed skin, as though she is as much a part of the field itself as simply kneeling in it. This speaks to me of fertility and life - a summertime goddess blessing the ripening harvest. This is a gorgeous image all around - well done!

I love the picture. I had actually first thought it was CG because of the way the color of her hair and the wheat contrasted. That's really nice work. I hope to make some of my own as I do more photography. ^_^

I think you guys think to much about ur comments personally i just see a naked woman with her breasts practically exposed. It's more like porn than anything else. the weat i have no clue about its just stupid in my mind.

If youre going to go for 'artistic nude' photos, why the coyness by having her cover her breasts? It makes the pose seem unnatural, which is kind of incongruous with the subject of the photograph, which seems to be about nature and freedom to enjoy ones natural surroundings. If you didnt want to show her breasts you could have made her pose so that they were hidden by the corn, yet still maintain that feeling of naturalness and freedom. Unless I'm completely missing the point and it is actually about how one is bound by inhibitions, even in the most free and natural of settings.

Intresting point hat youa re making!
I would offer as an explanation that I have introducecda "rupture" effect : an artificial attitude in a natural environmment. As you and others have rightly pointed out, there is a contradiction between her pose, her expression and the environment. This contradiction is the intresting point in this picture, in my opinion.
She knows she is watched, she enjoys it but she doesn't want you to enjoys it and she takes the necessary step to profit from her selfish pleasure.

I've seen various different responses you have given to critiques of this photo, and I think there is some inconsistency in your explanation of it depending on what people say. It seems that you are one of those people who creates a piece first and then decides what it should represent afterwards in response to criticism. Thats certainly one way of arriving at an interpretation of your work, but its not the most honest one.

Well...You are right on one point : I never have a pre-conceived idea of what I shoot. I shoot on impulse and see aftewards what can be understood.... I am not in the business of explaining anything but in the busines of creating emotions, starting with my own.
Hence, I do not RESPOND to criticisms. That is where your interpretation of what I do is wrong, you see... I REACT to criticism and I debate with it. I never want to prove the critics right or wrong. I couldn't care less, frankly. I receive reactions as a element in the contruction file of the next image....They often help me, for the "impulse" I was talking about higher up, is fed with past emotions, past technical experiences, past critics and past visions of pictures from others that I can see and feel here and elsewhere...

I love how the focus doesnt seem to be on her nudity, but the way she blends in with nature. Its about the natural beauty that connects us all...at least thats what it says to me.
