Description just found this one in my archives...an older one...here i went on tour with the wonderful *optimist

the second image in my gallery i cropped...i am not a fan of cropping an image...but here it was best i guess!

also die stiege is jedenfalls im alten teil... ich glaube stiege 6 oder so... weiß nicht mehr genau wo ich reingegangen bin
hab jedenfalls alle stiegen abgeklappert

bin neidisch!
einfach perfect! ich suche was störendes, und kann nichts finden.
besondes eindrucksvoll ist die etwas hellere beleuchtung eine etage tiefer.
wie macht man solche fotos - Du hängst doch nicht an der seile in der mitte des treppenhauses, oder?...

ähm naja...ich bin in die oberste etage gegangen, habe eben diese komposition gewählt und abgredrückt...war nicht wirklich aufregend das ganze, also kein seil oder dgl.

I'm absolutly awed by this one. The perspective, the spiralling down pattern, the B&W tones - perfect, Andi.

And not one of your images is to dark - I checked last 24 of them and they look perfect. I use CRT monitor and an old one at that but I don't see any problems with your photos. If you want I can save one to my computer and check its historiogram on PS. Plus, in my opinion CRTs are much more acurate in displaying colors than LCDs. You just have to have correct color profile.

yeah if i move my monitor just a few millimeters the whole images is much brighter / darker...that really sucks!
but as i said, i´ll have my new computer soon with a good crt and than the problem is solved i hope!

Gives me the feeling this is an infinite staircase to... nah I'm drifting off.
Like the black and white, although it's a bit dark, maybe you could have emphasize the infiniteness(is that a word? ) by making it a bit lighter, so that in the top it's white and when it gets nearer to the bottom of the stairs (if there's one!) it gets darker. But maybe that's just a weird concept.
Like it though.
