Elucidated Angel — Description
It was once a higher being that brought knowledge to the world, an entity of wisdom that many saw as an angel. Overtime, though, it became corrupted by greed. The need for new knowledge, the desire for more information. Its mental appetite was voracious, and there was not enough within its own plane to satisfy its hunger. To feed its starving mind, it came to the many mortal realms, delving into knowledge that was forbidden to its own kind, and taking what should never be thought. Its pure image was warped by these obscene desires, and its sins shaped what remained of it. The Elucidated Angel was one of the four angels that came before the Armed Lords and lent its power to fulfill their wishes. With the mortal tyrants under their control, this angel saw a chance to uncover more knowledge and thinking, no matter the cost. When the Armed Lords fell, the angels vanished from the mortal plane. Some believe they were also defeated in the fight, while others think that they wait on another plane, biding their time for when another set of mortals become susceptible to their corrupted ideas
