Darkwing Duck was one of my top favorite shows when I was little. I'd watch it everyday after school, man. Fuckin' Disney Afternoon was where it was at. Megavolt was my favorite character.I'm fairly certain it was this show that got me interested in drawing cartoons. I mean it's pretty obvious when you look at my own cartoon animal folk.

Dramatic colors and shading make this very eye fetching.
As much as I enjoy Darkwing's crazy (and most often improvised) villain catching methods, I do hope Megavolt gets away this time so he can enjoy his pilfered loot.
The little details on the falling coins also add a nice touch. Great work~

I just recently got into this show, and, oh hey! Looks like one of my all-time favourite artists has fanart of one of my favourite characters! How trippy is that? I think you might be god. Seriously. String Theory, Crane and Tetch, Lupin III, AND Darkwing Duck? You got some kick-ass taste, there.
I love the composition and colouring on this, by the way.

It's a recent video game, with the playable character having electrical powers that you can choose to be good or evil with. I was reminded of it due to Megavolt's electrical wire grinding, which you can do in-game, among other things. I recommend the game if you've got a PS3.

Megavolt was the best! Man, I remember coming home from school and plopping right down on the couch to watch this. I'm pretty sure that this is where my love of Saturday-Morning-cartoon-style villainy stems from. I think that some of the first words I learned to write were the names of the various villains from Darkwing Duck.
I need to go watch my Darkwing Duck DVD again now~
